The UPSC National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination is a prestigious entry-level exam for candidates aspiring to join the Indian Armed Forces. Conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), this examination is a gateway to three premier defense institutions: the National Defence Academy in Pune, the Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala, and the Air Force Academy in Hyderabad. The NDA & NA exam is held twice a year, typically in April and September.

The examination is divided into two stages: a written test and an interview. The written test consists of two papers: Mathematics and General Studies, which includes English and General Knowledge.
